structured and focused
Lifting weights. Running. Repping plays, throws, shots. We do all of these consistently as athletes. Not only do we perform them consistently, we often perform them on a routine schedule too. When I played football, each day of the week we expected to do specific types of activities and drills at practice leading up to games on Fridays. Rarely did e drift from that. That schedule ensured we completed what we needed to do to be ready for the game. It helped naturally shape our focus and mindset through the week to be peaked on Friday.
