FOUNDER, LEAD PRESENTER
Ben Chuha
Ben founded Fortius Frontiers stemming from an opportunity helping USA Bobsled and Skeleton with special projects during the COVID-19 pandemic.
From starting his career as an intern with the Cincinnati Reds to hosting national touring acts as Director of Events at the Broadmoor World Arena, Ben built his career around sports, recreation, and people pursuing their dreams.
An avid ice cream lover who still likes to find outlets for competing; Ben enjoys strategy board games, reading and listening to books, running trails around Colorado (and beyond), and playing sports of all kinds. He recently checked completing the Pikes Peak Ascent (a half marathon to the top of Pikes Peak) off his bucket list and is getting ready for an attempt at completing the Maryland Challenge within 12 hours. CASS GUTHRIE
Cass has an affinity for all sports, but her real passion lies in teamwork, collaboration, and the learning process. She grew up playing ice hockey in Central Ohio and competed in two national championships with Miami University’s women’s hockey team during her college years. While still in college, Cass made the transition out of competitive hockey in order to focus on her studies and opportunities to widen her experiences.
Cass’ unique path has left her with experience working as an educator, coach, competitor, and recreational athlete. She now competes with friends in bowling, volleyball, broomball and soccer leagues - all sports new to her in her adulthood. When she’s not in the heat of competition, she’s usually playing video games with equal ambition, snuggling her two dogs, or zoned out in the midst of existential, philosophical reflections.
Whether in sports or the world beyond, we all benefit from a great team.
